Becky Cormier Finch: Box Office Manager
Not quite a native-Georgian like Jeanette, Becky has lived here for 21 years, since the tender age of 6. She attended Walton High School in Marietta, and decided to get out of town to attend Catholic University in Washington DC, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. Her first show here was actually for a college credit-Pericles, back in the summer of 1998. When she came back to Atlanta (she just couldn’t stay away!), she worked briefly as a receptionist at a flooring company, and then as a drama teacher at an after-school program, before landing here at the Tavern in February of 2000. When not answering phones at the Box Office, Becky can be found on stage here, having appeared in Merry Wives, The Crucible, Murder in the Cathedral, Much Ado, …Forum, The Tempest, the History Spectacular, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and much more. She’s also a musician around town, singing and playing flute, guitar, and/or keyboards with the bands Three Quarter Ale and Great Scott! In her spare time, which she doesn’t get nearly enough of, she likes to read and catch up on the sleep she doesn’t get otherwise.
